Dallas Fire & Ambulance is proud to announce the upgrade of its services capabilities to now provide paramedic services to our residents, schools & businesses.  Effective 6:00 AM May 16, 2011, our Dallas station will be staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with a full-time Pennsylvania Certified Paramedic and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).  In addition, our second ambulance will be staffed Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM with  two EMTs.

We currently provide primary response service to Dallas Borough and Dallas Township and provide backup coverage to other Back Mountain volunteer companies when requested by departments or municipalities. With this new enhancement, we now serve our community with 10 full-time employees and 25 active volunteers. These improvements to the fire & ambulance capabilities are being provided at no additional costs to our taxpayers.
